• Managed Plum’s development team on multiple projects to provide a tailored IVR service for our customer.
• Managed day to day operations for Plum Voice Portals.

President / Events Coordinator

The Boston Reefers Society is a 501c non-profit organization committed to promoting interest in and enjoyment of all aspects of the marine aquarium hobby. The society educates the public on topics related to the biology, physiology, and chemistry of reef biotopes through sponsorship of lectures, publications, websites, exhibits and other means. The Society also provides an online forum for sharing resources and information among aquatic enthusiasts. The BRS supports research, education and conservation efforts aimed at improving marine and coral reef environments.

• Assisted in coordinating and directing the 16th annual “Marine Aquarium Conference of North America”. MACNA XVI was the largest, most successful conference of its type to date, with over 1200 conference attendees.
• Co-founded an organization which currently consists of 1700 current members.
• Assisted in marketing and advertising for club meetings and events.
• Arrange monthly events as well as develop and maintain relationships with vendors and sponsors.
• Designed and implemented http://www.bostonreefers.org as well as design of the logo.

SOUNDSBIG.com Boston, Ma

SOUNDSBIG.com is an interactive broadcast music company that was founded in April of 1999. I joined SOUNDSBIG in July of 1999 to assist in the design of a web site where musicians could digitally submit their content for exposure on the World Wide Web.


• Aided in design and implementation of a robust online application known as "ArtistNet" that allowed digital distribution of artist media (MP3's, ASF). Most of the information validation was handled on the server. This application was written mainly in ASP and HTML with some Java Script.

• Designed and implemented content for the SOUNDSBIG.com homepage. The homepage hosted content for "featured artists", such as FATBOY Slim and Filter. The user was able to come to SOUNDSBIG.com and view the artist's information as well as sample artist audio. I worked along side the creative director on the development of these pages. The pages consisted mainly of HTML with some Java Script.

• Designed prototype players for both Boston.com and Rounder Records.

• Worked with the Boston.com creative department on the final product.

• Implemented the look and feel for www.SOUNDSBIG.com

Projects

SOUNDSBIG Player Graphics Developer
• Assisted in the modification and implementation of the orginal design by David Bush of Circa Creative.
• Worked with third party companies to design custom players such as the Boston.com Player and the Rounder Records Player.
• The player used Microsoft's Windows Media Technology and Real Media Technology to play streaming and downloadable music.
